Premier League giants Hearts of Oak are considering the Tema Sports Stadium as their new match venue ahead of the upcoming season following the refurbishment of the Accra Sports Stadium.
The club that play their home matches at the Accra Sports Stadium would have to adopt a new home after the sports ministry shut the edifice down for renovation ahead of the Africa Women's Championship later this year.
"Hearts are looking at either Tema Park,El wak and Swedru to be used as our home because our meeting with the MOYS couldn't earn us an opportunity to use the Accra Sports Stadium even though it's under renovation, we were suggesting some part be closed so we can use it but until July, they say they won't allow us" Hackman Aidoo, administrative Manager of Hearts told Oyerepa FM.
It is understood the club has started talking with the management of the Tema Sports Stadium for next season's Ghana Premier League.
The renovations of the Stadium is expected to complete in July, with the Ghana Premier League already ongoing.
