Director of Communications for Accra Hearts of Oak SC, Kwame Opare Addo has refuted media reports that the club has agreed a 30% pay-cut on player salaries.
Reports went rife in the media earlier this week that the Phobians had decided to slash 30% of player salaries due to the impact of the Coronavirus on the club's finances.
But, Opare Addo has denied these claims in an interview with Kumasi based OTEC FM.
"It is not true that we have agreed on a 30% pay-cut, it is not even a public announcement, we will do it with our players. Everything we do is between us (Club) and the players," he said.
"If there is anything that we want the public to know, we will communicate to them on our social media platforms."
The Coronavirus pandemic has led to the suspension of all football activities in the country.
