Former Hearts of Oak captain Moro Abubakar has it out at the club claiming they didn’t show enough respect to him during the local transfer window.
According to Moro, he offered himself free to the Phobians but they didn’t show him respect stating that instead of the club to sit down with him they were rather commanding him to go and train with the club.
Moro, 26, who was the former captain of the Phobians had hinted that he was open to talks to join the Phobians but coiled back when the club showed no interest.
“I was in talks with Hearts of Oak but they didn’t show any seriousness. I was ready and offered myself free because the club is my mother club\.
“I wanted to feature for them without any signing-on fee but football is about business and you can’t meet me today and command me to go to training.
“Instead of sitting down with me, they were rather telling to show up at the training grounds if indeed am serious.
I realized that they didn’t show me any respect at all,” Moro told Nhyira FM.
“The supporters love me and I wanted to replicate that love but it seems the people at the helm of affairs are not ready to sign me,” he added.
Moro captained Hearts of Oak in the 2013/14 Ghana Premier League before leaving the following season to Donji Srem in Serbia.
He, however, terminated his contract with the Serbian side for non-payment in 2014/15 and has since returned to Ghana.
