Hearts of Oak interim coach, Edward Nii Odoom has said his outfit lacks the needed quality in the playing body for the team to be on the right path in the ongoing league.
The Phobians have exhibited a poor run of form in the Ghana Premier League after losing their opening two league games against Berekum Chelsea at the Accra Sports Stadium and Medeama SC at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa.
According to Nii Odoom, the club lacks quality players which can be attributed to the poor start of the season. He, therefore, pleaded with the club’s management to beef up the squad for him.
“I have to work with the players I came to meet. I agree that the quality of the team is low", he told Happy FM.
"We need reinforcements in the team. There is no creative midfielder in the team. I have told the management and they have agreed to buy," he noted.
