Karela United head coach Jimmy James Corbblah has asserted that Hearts of Oak players are not superior to his squad.
The pride and passion lads will host the Phobians at the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium in Tamale during match week eleven of the 2024/25 Ghana Premier League.
"I told Karela United players that Accra Hearts of Oak is not better than them. Our problem is that we are not scoring," Corbblah said in his pre-match press conference.
Karela United has struggled offensively, scoring just one goal in their last five matches and failing to score in their last three games. They are also winless in their previous three outings.
Meanwhile, Hearts of Oak are the league's second-best team in terms of away form, with two victories on the road against Medeama and Young Apostles—a record only surpassed by Nations FC.
The Phobians will aim to secure a third consecutive win, while Karela United looks to return to winning ways.
