Hearts of Oak coach Herbert Addo has poured cold water on reports that he is interested in bringing in Fatau Dauda.
The 29-year-old goalkeeper became available on a free transfer after cancelling his contract with newly promoted South African top-flight side Chippa United, claiming the club are yet to pay his signing on fee and monthly salary for the last month.
Dauda has been linked with a return to AshantiGold just a little over a year ago after leaving them for the rainbow nation.
There have been reports that Hearts would hijack the move and sign the 2014 FIFA World Cup star But Addo says his signing of Burkina international Abdoulaye Soulama has solved his goalkeeping headache.
“Fatau for me would have been a massive addition but un-fortunately for him I have done all the business I need with respect to the goalkeeping position,” Addo told GHANASoccernet.com.
“I am happy with what I have got and I am confident that we can do wonders with the ones we have.
