Hearts of Oak signs Charles MacCarthy on a free transfer

Hearts of Oak have signed former Elmina Sharks ace Charles MacCarthy on a free transfer.

The club announced on Tuesday: "Charles Mackarthy, the former Ghana National U20 and U23 midfielder has signed a long term deal with @HeartsOfOakGH".

MacCarthy was released by Elmina Sharks last week in a massive clear-out by the Ghana Premier League club.

He becomes the fourth signing for the capital club during this off-season.
