Hearts of Oak Board Member Frank Nelson has reiterated his outfit’s support to interim coach Edward Nii Odoom.
Odoom was handed first team duties following the sacking of Kim Grant last month.
The veteran tactician has supervised the Phobians' resurgent from their poor start to the campaign, winning three, losing two and drawing one.
Reports went rife in the media that the club have turned down the idea of providing a vehicle to the stop-gap coach.
But the claims have quickly been quashed by Frank Nelson who insisted that they are delighted with the work of the former Tema Youth trainer and are ready to provide him with all the needed materials to make him comfortable in the job.
"Odoom is working for the club and we will make sure that anything concerning his welfare will be provided,” Nelson stated.
"Management together with supporters of the club will give him the needed support. He is the acting coach of the team and we are ready to provide whatever he is entitled to being it salary, vehicle, medical bills and others.”
Hearts of Oak — who are sitting 8th on the log with 10 points — will play AshantiGold SC in Week 8 of the campaign at the Accra Sports Stadium on Thursday.
