Accra, March 10, An Accra Fast Track High Court on Friday granted summary judgement and relief to Accra Great Olympics in respect of the transfer fee case between the club and Accra Hearts of Oak. Olympics, the plaintiffs were seeking an order from the court to compel Hearts to pay them 39 million cedis and 36,000 dollars with interest on the transfer of three of their key players, Laryea Kingston, to an Israel Club, Samuel Monnie to Okwawu United and Charles Asampong Taylor to Kumasi Asante Kotoko.

The back-to-batan premiership club, by the transfer arrangements on the players to Hearts were entitled to a percentage in the onward transfer of the trio.

The court's decision stems from the absence of the defendants when the case was called and they had failed to comply with the court's order to file an affidavit in opposition to the earlier summary of judgement granted.

The Plaintiff therefore repeated their application, which the court granted the order.

Counsel for defendants, Ernest Thompson on March 2, intimated to the court that he thought the case had been disposed off in an earlier dismissal of the application.

Olympics on October 17, 2005, filed a suit to demand from Hearts their share of the onward transfer of the three players. The "Dade Boys" demanded 79 million cedis and 36, 000 dollars from Hearts.

Counsel for Olympics, Nii Oman Badoo had earlier told the court that Hearts had paid 40 million cedis out of the 79 million cedis with an outstanding balance of 39 million cedis.
