The management of Hearts of Oak have settled two months outstanding salaries of GHC 230,000 for the playing body and technical team to pave way for its pre-season training which started on Monday.
Monday’s training session witnessed only three registered players with the rest coming from the junior side at the Legon Ajax Park.
According to an impeccable source, some players’ refusal to appear at training grounds on Monday and Tuesday was in agitation of the unpaid pending cash.
But in response to the agitation from the players, Board Chairman, Togbe Afede XIV ordered the payment immediately on Tuesday morning.
This means assistant coach Henry Wellington Lamptey is likely to get a full house come Wednesday as he awaits head coach Frank Elliot Nuttal who is expected in Ghana later today.
Meanwhile, Hearts will face archrivals Kotoko in the return leg of the Ghana @60 celebrations at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium on Sunday December 24.
