Accra Hearts of Oak could secure the services of WA Stars goalkeeper Richard Ofori in the second round of the transfer window, sources at the Rainbow Club have revealed to GhanaSportsOnline.com.

An inside source at the Club (Hearts of Oak) have revealed the Ghanaian giants have been in talks with the Black Stars goalkeeper for the past two days.

Ofori who doubles as a goalkeeper for the local Black Stars team has been one of the outstanding shot-stoppers in the Ghana Premier League for the past two seasons.

The former Ghana U20 gloves-man was named the best goalkeeper in the domestic top-flight last season.

His tremendous performance has helped WA All Stars to occupy the top spot so far this season.

Hearts of Oak according to report are seeking the signature of the 22-year-old following a recent howler by first choice goalkeeper Soulama Abdulai.

The former Ghana Champions has thus renewed their interest in the goalkeeper after an earlier attempt to sign him prior to the season proved futile.
