Accra Hearts of Oak on Wednesday returned to training at the Legon Ajax Park as they continue preparations for Saturday’s crucial G8 opener against Karela FC.

The training which lasted for two hours saw assistant coach, Henry Wellington taking the players through series of passing and shooting drills as well some physical exercise to put them in shape ahead of the 2016/17 football season.
Hearts striker Cosmos Dauda who is recovery from a knock, had a separate training programme and he’s expected to recover in time for Saturday’s clash.
Noticeably absentees at the training grounds was Winful Cobbinah, Anthony Nimo and Alexandre Kouassi who are yet to report for training.
Asiedu Attobrah who started training with the Phobians are few weeks back was absent for today’s training and information gathered by Ghananacrusader.com indicates that, the player is unlikely to join the club as negotiations are currently at a halt.
Meanwhile, head coach Frank Nuttall is expected to join the team’s training session on Thursday as he looks to prepare the team.
