Hearts of Oak have made an early move on the transfer market by talented striker Latif Salifu on a three-year deal, the club have confirmed.
Salifu, a former Ghana youth international, played last season for Berekum Chelsea and helped them to finish third.
He becomes the first marquee signing to be landed by management as they seek to fortify the squad for the 2015/2016.
Hearts had a turbulent campaign last term and nearly got relegated but for three points accrued from the boardroom after winning a protest against Asante Kotoko who fielded an unqualified against them in the league derby.
The Phobians went on to finish fourth but did not have the quality to match that status on the league classification.
