Hearts of Oak have taken a step closer to appointing a head coach after the arrival of Japanese trainer Kenichi Yatsuhashi who was born and raised in USA.
The coach arrived in Ghana at the Kotoka International Airport on Sunday at exactly 11:58 am and he was welcomed by Hearts delegation led by the Managing Director of the club, Gerald Ankrah.
According to Allsports.com.gh sources, the coach is expected to sign a two year deal and he will begin pre- season preparation with the Accra giants on Tuesday.
The arrival of the 46 year old trainer means the Phobians have decided to snub Can Vanli who was highly tipped to land the vacant coaching job after talks between Hearts and Medema’s trainer Tom Strand fell through.
