Hearts of Oak say they expect to complete the signing of goalkeeper Stephen Adams by Friday having missed out on previous transfer targets.
The Phobians have been in talks with the Aduana Stars goalkeeper in recent weeks over a move.
Hearts have missed out on several of their off-season transfer targets with Ernest Sowah, Latif Salifu and Tuffour Frimpong Manso the most prominent misses.
But the Accra-based club appear confident of securing the services of Stephen Adams by the close of the week.
“Negotiations between Stephen Adams and Hearts of oak are still ongoing,” Hearts’ Public Relations Officer Kwame Opare Addo said.
“We have taken the right approach and we are forging ahead with discussions.
“Talks are far advanced and I believe the only thing left is the money involved.
“But I am sure by Friday we would have concluded everything.”
