Although an overhauling has been confirmed, Hearts will not sign more than seven players in the coming transfer window.
That is according to the team’s Public Relations Officer, Kwame Opare Addo. Having booted ten players out - with five others on loan - ahead of the 2015/16 season, the club is clarifying its signing policy ahead of next campaign.
“It was a decision taken by both the management and the board not to sign more than seven players for the new season. At the moment, we have already signed one player, in the person of Latif Salifu, that means that we will have room for only six new players,” Opare said.
Latif Salifu, it was revealed days ago, signed a three-year deal with the Phobians and sources say incoming ones are Medeama's Kwesi Donsu, Liberty Professionals' Kennedy Ashia and Daniel Adjei, Berekum Chelsea's Kofi Owusu or Richard Ofori (Wa All Stars ). Also named include Lions' Osman Muntaka, and BA United's Patrick Asmah.
Local media reports had also mentioned Kotoko's Richard Mpong and Chelsea's Berekum Chelsea as being targets.
