The rivalry between Accra Hearts of Oak and Kumasi Asante Kotoko could be reignited on Sunday if both clubs make it to the finals of the ‘Oil City’ Cup.
The competition which is being organized by a Non-Governmental Organisation (NGO), Absolute Peace International, is to help celebrate the oil find in the Western Region.
The four-club competition will come off between December 19 and 21, 2014 at the Sekondi Sports Stadium.
SC Medeama and Sekondi Hasaacas are the other two clubs that will contend with Hearts of Oak and Asante Kotoko for Oil Cup.
All four Clubs, Kotoko, Hearts, Medeama and Hasaacas have all accepted to participate.
There will be two games on Friday December 19 as Hearts will play Medeama whereas Kotoko take on Hasaacas.
The winners will go straight into the final on December 21. To determine the third and four place teams, the losers will play before the final match. Absolute Peace International is a Non-Governmental Organization committed to world peace.
