Accra Hearts of Oak board Members are set to name a substantive Managing Director for the club before the upcoming season starts, Sportscrusader.com can exclusively reveal.
Football Administrator Kurt Okreku and Gerrard Ankrah are the likely candidates expected to be named by the Board of Directors after their meeting with the duo next week.
Both Kurt Okreku and Gerrard Ankrah are expected to restore the Phobian glory after the Board fired the then Managing Director Neil Armstrong Mortagbe for misappropriation of funds and other reasons.
Information gathered by sportscrusader.com has it that, the incoming Managing Director will be responsible for the day to day running of the activities of the Phobians, as well as getting sponsors to come on board to help the former Champions of Ghana football.
Kurt, who has served Hearts of Oak from time immemorial, is reported to be the favorite to be named as the new Managing Director but the board will want to give the same opportunity for both to state their case and aspirations for the Phobians when they eventually meet the Board of Directors next week.
