Hearts Board of Directors will hold an emergency meeting on Tuesday to find a substantive Chief Executive.
The position has become vacant following the expiration of Fred Crentsil’s two-year mandate.
A host of top football administrators have been linked with the job with ex-King Faisal boss Vincent Sowah Odotei believed to be among the front runners.
But that ambition could be scattered after Board member Dr Nyaho Tamakloe publicly kicked against his appointment.
Ashantigold Chief Executive Kudjoe Fianoo and former National Chapters Committee (the club’s umbrella supporters’ body) chairman Neil Armstrong- Mortagbe are seen as potential suitors.
Ex-Board member Frank Nelson Nwokolo is also believed to be the man who could get the nod with reports claiming he has an overwhelming support from the Board of Directors of the 2000 African Champions.
Ahead of the meeting today, the former Ghana FA chairman, Dr. Nyaho Tamakoe has appealed to fans and all stakeholders not to panic or get manipulated by any lobbyists.
“Let everybody be assured that whatever decision we take regarding the CEO position will be a blessing for Hearts of oak,” Tamakloe said
“We are seeking a dynamic, charismatic and results driven-driven person for the job.”
Hearts want to find a suitable replacement in time ahead of their Premier League ambitions this term.
