Hearts to play Ashgold on Sunday

Accra, Feb 23, GNA - Accra Hearts of Oak will on Sunday take on Obuasi Ashgold in a friendly football match at the Obuasi Len Clay sports stadium.

The match is to serve as a preparatory platform for the two sides for the commencement of the 2006 soccer season as well as other competitive assignments.

The game will be the third high profile pre-season game to be played by the Phobians, after defeating Liberty Professionals and Padeco FC of Liberia in previous friendly matches. With the GHALCA Top Four Tourney in sight, the Phobians are expected to use the game as a preparatory ground for the competition as well as for the CAF Champions League games.

A statement signed by Mr Ashford Tettey-Oku, Administrative Manager of Hearts copied to the GNA Sports said a flat rate of 100,000 cedis will be charged at the VIP, while the rate for the VIP Wings goes for 60,000 cedis.

The statement said, 30,000 cedis will be charge at the Popular Stand and the Center Line. The match is scheduled to start at 3:00 PM.
