Nine Hearts of Oak players including captain Robin Gnagne and midfielder Sabahn Laryea are on their way out of the club according to reports in the local media.

According to the Graphic Sports newspaper, a source close to the Strategy Committee of the club revealed that the nine players will be out of the club as part of strategies to restructure the club.

The source further hinted that most of the players have their contracts expiring at the end of the season.

And the club will not give them outright contracts but will have to prove to the new technical team that they are capable of donning the rainbow jerseys again next season.

“We are reviewing the capacity and performance of each player in the team and I can assure you that nine players will be on their way out at the end of the season because their contracts have ended,” the source told the Graphic Sports.

“The decision to retain them will depend on their final appraisal by the coach.

“We will keep those that we have to keep and release those who are not pulling their weight. Probably they will do better somewhere why not,” the source added.

GHANAsoccernet.com investigations have revealed that apart from Robin Gnagne and Sabahn Laryea, other players who could face the exit door include Owusu Bempah, Richmond Yamoah and Paul Acquah.

The others are Selasi Adjei, Foovi Aguidi, Leonard Tawiah and Isaac Oduro.
