Public Relations Officer of Hearts of Oak Kwame Opare Addo has confirmed that the club has settled on the Swedru Stadium as their home venue ahead of the 2018/19 Ghana Premier League season.
This decision has been taken due to refurbishment currently underway at the Accra Sports Stadium for the upcoming 2018 Africa Women Championship that will be held in Ghana later this year.
The Phobians initially considered using the Tema Park but after witnessing a mammoth crowd during their 1-0 pre-season friendly win over Swedru All Black last Sunday, the club changed their mind and instead opted for the Swedru Park as their home venue for the upcoming season.
During an interview with FNN TV, the club's scribe, Kwame Opare Addo confirmed their decision to honour their next season's home games at the Swedru Park.
