Black Stars head coach Otto Addo on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, announced a 26-man squad for the 2026 FIFA World Cup qualifiers.
Following the announcement, some clubs took to X (formerly Twitter) to congratulate their players for making the list.
Some clubs that reacted include, Brighton and Hove Albion, West Bromwich Albion, Salford FC, Asante Kotoko, and AS Monaco.
The players in question are Thomas Asante who has received a maiden call-up, Tariq Lamptey, Mohammed Salisu, and Federick Asare.
The former Borussia Dortmund gaffer revealed his squad on Wednesday, May 29, 2024, at the Ghana Football Association's Conference Room in Osu, Accra.
Ghana will visit Mali on Thursday, June 7, 2024, before hosting the Central African Republic on Monday, June 10, 2024, in the World Cup qualifiers.
