Clubs of some Ghanaian players have reacted to their selection in Ghana’s squad for the games against Angola and Niger in the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
The official squad for both matches was released on Thursday, August 29, 2024, with 23 players selected for the matches in September.
Notable omissions from the squad include Abdul Salis Samed, Gideon Mensah, Baba Rahman, Dede Ayew, and Denis Odoi.
Otto Addo also invited the likes of Inaki Williams, Joseph Paintsil, Majeed Ashimeru, and Francis Abu.
The 23-man squad comprises 3 goalkeepers, 8 defenders, 5 midfielders, 7 forwards, and no debutants.
The Black Stars will host Angola in Kumasi on September 5, 2024, before visiting Niger on September 9.

The clubs congratulated their players for the call-up and wished them the very best as they embark on a journey to qualify Ghana for the 2025 AFCON.
