Chelsea winger Callum Hudson-Odoi has emerged as the best passer of the ball into penalty areas in the 2019/20 English Premier League.

The England born Ghanaian beats Algeria and Manchester City play maker Riyad Mahrez as the player with the most key passes into the box.

With over 500 touches from each player in the English topflight, Hudson-Odoi makes an average 19.8 touches into the box compared to Mahrez's 19.8.

The teenager beats the likes of Kevin DeBruyne and David Silva to top the list.

In the top five, Hudson-Odoi leads followed by Riyad Mahrez and Alex Iwobi in third position.

Harvey Barnes and Kevin DeBruyne follow in fourth and fifth positions respectively.

Other names in the list are Willian, Marcus Rashford, Pierre Emerick Augbamayeng and David Silva.

Callum Hudson-Odoi has had a topsy-turvy season following injuries but has been one of the Blues key players under manager Frank Lampard.
