I am not distracted by transfer links to Hearts of Oak - Adebayor

Inter Allies’ Nigerien import, Victorien Adje Adebayor has ruled out any psychological distraction regarding his links to Hearts of Oak.

“I have a contract with Inter Allies and so even if I say anything it will not work.”

“Honestly my thought is not even about playing for another club in Ghana but outside Ghana.”

“For now I’m fully focused on Inter Allies.”

The 23-year-old captain has been tipped severally by a section of the media to join Accra Hearts of Oak but any of such deal is yet to be discussed by the two clubs.

The former AS GNN of Niger has been consistent with his form since joining Inter Allies in the 2016/17 season.

The skillful forward was instrumental in Inter Allies 4-2 win over King Faisal in Accra on match day 7 where he scored the first goal.

He was adjudged man-of -the-match after that grueling encounter.

On 29 August 2018, Vejle Boldklub in Denmark announced the signing of Adebayor from Inter Allies on a loan deal until 30 June 2019.

However, one month later, the club announced that they wanted to terminate the loan deal because Adebayor did not show up as agreed and the club had not been able to get in touch with the player.
