The Japanese American Coach took his Facebook page to refute the claim in the section of the media. “It is also not true that I have been contacted by Kotoko. Kotoko is one of two biggest football clubs in Ghana, and I respect them” he stated.
He affirmed his commitment to Hearts and acknowledge the fans for their supports and vowed to bring success to the continental club masters. “However, my heart is with Accra Hearts of Oak. My motivation is our Hearts supporters; as long as the supporters of Hearts support me and trust me to guide our club to success, I will do and have always done my best” he further stated.
Hearts of Oak were eliminated in the round 32 of the MTN FA cup on Saturday by Samartex after penalty shoot out.
