I can still sign for a club - Pimpong

A former Ghana international Razak Pimpong has stated he can still sign for any of the lower division clubs in Denmark, despite retiring from Viborg.

The 30-year-old, who featured for Ghana at the 2006 World Cup retired from Viborg and joined the business running aspect of the setup. He said he is still eligible to sign for any of the lower division sides.


“Of course, I miss playing football, and I would also like a little moving again at a lower level. I have received a few inquiries,” Pimpong exclusively told Goal Ghana.

“I've also got acceptance from VFF that I can play a little, so long as it fits with my job here. VFF is my first priority, and it is here that I must show that I have my eligibility on future labour.”


Pimpong helped the club to qualify to the Danish top division and he is seen as one of the cult figures in the side which the youngsters look up to. He has spent majority of his active playing time in Denmark where he featured for the likes of FC Midjytlland and FC Copenhagen.
