Milovan Rajavac is desperate to join the Black Stars' technical team after arriving in Ghana on Monday.
Rajavac, expected to conclude his contractual details with the Ghana Football Association (GFA) to firm his role as the technical adviser to Black Stars' coach, Kwesi Appiah told GNA Sports “I cannot wait to join the family again."
The Serbian hinted he will join the team when the Stars hit the road to Lome to face the Hawks of Togo in a mid-week Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
"I am very excited to be back here; my second home. It is always relaxing and I love it here. We will see what will happen tomorrow as the team get ready for the next match".
Rajavac made the cut among the three shortlisted for the technical advisory role and is expected to conclude his terms with the three-member committee tasked with his appointment before approval by the Executive Committee of the GFA.
The coach enjoyed a two-year successful spell with Ghana when he guided the Black Stars to a silver medal at the 2010 Africa Cup of Nations in Angola before the quarter final finish at the FIFA World Cup in South Africa later that year.
While at the helm, Appiah was the 60-year old's assistant. Rajavac refused to extend his two-year contract with Ghana after the 2010 success.
