Former Ghana international Mohammed Polo says it is unnecessary for him to apply for the Technical Director job of the Ghana Football Association (GFA).
Oti Akenteng's tenure expired last month following the decision by the new GFA administration not to renew his deal.
The football's governing body (GFA) has since opened applications in search of a competent person for the vacant position.
Polo in an interview with Bryt FM hinted that he does not need to apply for the job before he can land it as he believes he is more than capable to hold that position.
“Applying for the job is out because if the Executives of the Ghana thinks I can do it best, it is of no use for me to do so. They should just give it to me. If you look at the direction of the FA in appointing people for the various job they don’t apply”
“Even the coaches did not apply for the job and so why should I apply, I don’t need to apply” he said.
