Black Stars goalkeeper Fatau Dauda has denied holding talks with Accra Hearts of Oak over a possible move to the capital.
The AshantiGold goalie was reported to have opened talks with the 2000 African champions over a move to join the Rainbow Boys but he has denied the report.
Speaking in an interview with GHANAsoccernet.com Fatau Dauda said “It is not true that I have held talk with Accra Hearts of Oak. If they have held talks with any of my managers, I can’t tell but for me, I have not spoken to anyone.”
“I am a national goalie and it is only good that such reports are made.”
“However, it will even be difficult for me to move out of AshantiGold SC because the club is just about playing in Africa.”
“So it will not even sound good for me to move out of the club when I have the opportunity of playing in an international competition, ” Fatau added.
