Ghanaian forward Andre Ayew has shared his excitement after signing for French side Le Havre on a one-season loan deal.
The former Swansea City player stated that signing for Le Havre was an easy choice as he has been with the club in the past and knows their culture.
The Black Stars player highlighted the infrastructural facilities, including the stadium, as well as the supporters who give their utmost support to the team during games.
"HAC was an obvious choice. By signing here, I had the feeling of arriving in a little Marseille. There is the sea, a full stadium, and supporters who push. I have a real affection for them," Ayew is quoted by ghanasoccernet.com.
Andre Ayew played the 2023/24 season at the French club, where he was a standout player.
He scored six goals, including some spectacular ones, in 20 games to help them avoid relegation.
The 34-year-old, who has not played active football since May 2024, is expected to make his second debut for Le Havre after the October 2024 international break.
Le Havre currently sit 15th with six points after seven games. They have won two games and lost the remaining five.
