Richmond Boakye-Yiadom says renowned coach Fabio Capello was key in his decision to join Chinese Super League side Jiangsu Suning.
The Ghana international has signed a three-year deal in a reported € 5.7m deal from Serbian giants Red Star Belgrade.
"China offered a life-changing opportunity which I took," the 25-year international told KweséESPN. "It's that simple."
"I [chose Jiangsu] because they're coached by one of the best coaches in the world in Capello," he continued.
"The club's top profile, vision and links with Inter Milan was an extra attraction."
Boakye lands in China with a rich scoring record of 42 goals for club and country in 2017.
For the first half of the season, the banged in 15 goals in 14 league appearances in the Serbian Liga.
