Chairman of Ghana Football Association (GFA) Normalization Committee, Dr.Kofi Amoah has revealed he has unearthed the canker hindering Ghana Football.
Amoah, who was appointed to lead reforms in Ghana Football following Anas Aremeyaw Anas popular documentary piece dubbed number 12 made this stunning revelation. The video which is believed to unearth bribery and corruption in the game of football was aired June 6 2018.
Football in Ghana has since being suspended leading to the truncation of the Ghana Premier League 2018/19 season.
Notwithstanding, the leader of the four-member committee formed by CAF/FIFA and GoG, Dr.Kofi Amoah disclosed on Adom TV Sports Show 'Fire for Fire' that he has come face to face with the problem of Ghana Football and they are in charge firmly.
"So far the Normalization Committee have met almost all the stakeholders in Ghana football and we now know most of the problems affecting the game".
"I now know all the problems in Ghana football and we the Normalization Committee is firmly in charge", he added.
He, however, stated that players are the most vulnerable stakeholders in the game which all must comprehend going forward. "We need to understand that the important people in our game are the players. We need to incentivize them".
The Normalization Committee has until March 30, 2019, to vacant from the office.
