Head of Communications for Accra Hearts of Oak, Larbi Opare Addo has bet his job on Hearts' first game of the season against New Edubiase at the Accra sports stadium on Sunday.

According to the locquacious editor of Hearts' official newspaper, Hearts News, he will resign from his position if his club loses their opening league game to New Edubiase United on Sunday.

Speaking on Happy FM's Anopa Bosuo Sports, Larbi Opare disclosed that the players and technical team are poised to snatch all three points from the Bekwai based club.

"I bet you, if Hearts loses on Sunday, I will quit my job. I cannot imagine Hearts losing to Edubiase on match day one." He told Happy FM.

However, president of New Edubiase Unite, Yakubu Abdul Salam has fired a warning shot and believes his side will stun the Phobians on Sunday.

"Tell Opare Addo that, My management and I will only be spectators on the day but the boys are coming very hungry for the 3 points. Even though most of our first team players have left the club, the new ones are so good. They can run for 150 minutes without getting wary. We are looking at punishing Hearts as we did last season." Yakubu Abdul Salam told Happy FM.
