Dreams FC head coach, C.K. Akonnor is happy with the elevation of Godwin Attram as the head coach of second tier side Accra Great Olympics.
Attram was named the head coach of the capital-based club after the expiration of the contract of Yaw Acheampong a few days ago.
And C.K. Akonnor is happy seeing most of his team mates taking to coaching.
“I am happy for him. It is always good to see your colleagues in the industry as yourself. We need to encourage more ex-players to get into the business,” CK said.
“It is always good to have active participants of the game turning into managers and I am happy at that.
The best person for a job is someone who has done the job before and knows the ins and outs of the job.”
“It’s encouraging and I believe the FA will encourage more ex-players to get into coaching to help develop the game.”
C.K. Akonnor’s team mates like Malam Yaya, Yaw Preko, Gargo Mohammed and many others are currently coaches in Ghana.
