Midfielder for Accra Hearts of Oak, Emmanuel Nettey has observed that he is staying fit at home by following his training program in isolation amid the Coronavirus pandemic.
The 2019/2020 Ghana Premier League season has been put on hold due to the Coronavirus which has had an impact on sporting activities in almost every part of the country.
Due to the inactivity of the sport in the country, players do not get the chance to train extensively.
While personal training is encouraged while they stay at home, it will not be the best in terms of keeping them in top shape.
In a video posted on Twitter, Emmanuel Nettey has admitted that he will be affected by the situation but not too much. According to him, he is following his specially designed program outline and he is confident he will keep his shape.
“The break of the league will affect me in a way but not that much because I am having my schedule"
“Even in this break, I have my training program I am following at home. We are praying to God to get rid of this coronavirus so that we can go to full-scale training once again”, the Hearts of Oak midfielder said.
Nettey has been impressive since joining the Rainbow club at the beginning of the season and is now one of their best players.
