Centre-back Godwin Osei Bonsu has confirmed his imminent departure from Accra Hearts of Oak insisting he has no problems with the Accra-based side he served for four years.
The bulky defender this season struggled to keep up with competition from Nuru Sulley, Robin Gnagne and Abraziz Abankwa who were preferred by head coach David Duncan.
“My contract expires at the end of the season and I have no intentions of staying to go through the difficult period I just experienced in the last half of the past season again.
“I have no problems with anybody here [Hearts] and would leave for a place where I will be appreciated with much playing time,” Osei Bonsu said.
Osei Bonsu was enjoying some playing time until the arrival of Coach Duncan before the end of the first round of the season saw him relegated to the side-lines.
