Boxer Braimah Kamoko, popularly known as Bukom Banku, says those who really know him know that he is not an arrogant person and that he only speaks his mind.

The boxer who was reacting to some comments in the media that he was an arrogant person following his statement that he cared less if he is banned from the sport by the Ghana Boxing Authority, said contrary to that speculation, he is a down to earth person who is very jovial.

“Since the incident happened last week, several people have interviewed me on the possibility of me getting a ban from the GBA and all I tell them is that even if it happens like that, I won’t go hungry because I am a man of many talents and will surely bounce back.”

“How does that amount to arrogance," he asked in his interview with sportscrusader.com.

“I just speak my mind without any fear or favor and I believe that is far from arrogance. What were they expecting me to say? That I will go into farming or will I beg on the streets when I am banned?

“This is a straightforward question and I gave a straightforward answer. But I am not arrogant if they manage to get close to me, they will realize that. I am friends with a lot of ‘big men’ in Ghana, and even they know that I am not all that I am being accused of,” he added.
