The founder of Kumasi-based King Faisal Football Club, Alhaji Karim Gruzah, has dispelled rumours of his demise.
There was speculation on social media that the bankroller of King Faisal had died on Thursday, but the ever vocal club manager said he was alive and unperturbed by the reports.
“God has said in the Holy Quran that He created life and death and anyone with life will die one day, but before you die, you will have a vision of all the good and bad you did while on earth. If you have faith in God and you are being rumoured to be dead, it shouldn’t surprise you because death is a must,” he told Kumasi-based Metro FM.
Alhaji Gruzah is an outspoken football administrator who has not shied away from criticising the running of football in the country.
His football club, King Faisal, is currently playing in the Division One League, having been relegated from the premier division two seasons ago.
