Executive Committee Member of the Ghana Football Association Kurt E.S Okraku who doubles as MTN FA Cup Organising Committee Chairman has emphatically stated that he is not going contest for the GFA Presidency seat in 2019 as has been widely speculated in recent times.

In an interview with Atinka FM, says he has not rented or hired anybody to speak about something does not exit.

“It is very good when there are opportunities Yes, of course those on top who people think they have the capacity to perform such responsibilities are spoken about and it’s normal of every endeavor.” Kurt E.S Okraku told Atinka FM.

“If Jose Mourinho has no job and there is job opportunity elsewhere everybody will link him to the top”

“But I have not said it anywhere I want to become GFA president, I have not said that anywhere” He added.

“Never have I rented or hired anybody to speak about something does not exit”

“But I been in this job for about 20-30 years and when you have your ears in the ground you will hear some of this things some will be true some may not be true” “At the end of the day you are the leader you have to take decisions, you have to decide whether to go on left or to go right ”

Nyantakyi was recently elected onto the FIFA Executive Council and will serve on that council for the next four years and has also been appointed as the first Vice-Presidents of new CAF boss Ahmad Ahmad.
