Former Hearts of Oak captain, Amankwah Mireku has happily stated that he has never regretted playing the sport even though he does not deem himself as a wealthy man.
He won a number of trophies with the Phobians during his playing career and also managed an appearance with the Black Stars.
In an interview with Asempa FM, Mireku stated that if he dies and comes back multiple times, he will still choose football.
“If I die and come back ten times, I will always want to be a footballer”.
“I am not really a wealthy person because of football but I will never say I have regretted playing football”, he concluded.
