Former head coach of Hearts of Oak, Mohammed Polo, has admitted that he misses life on the touchline adding that he might soon return, provided he gets the right Club.

The coach, who was relieved of his duty as the head coach of the Accra based Club, soon after the 2013/2014 league season, says he is not done coaching but rather taking stock of his career so as to return to the touchlines very soon.

“I am not retired as a coach and I’m very available. But for now, I will like to rest and take stock of activities that went on with my former employers, Hearts of Oak, before I return to the game again”, the coach mentioned in an interview with sportscrusader.com.

“Football is my life and I can’t stay away from it just like that. I am a coach and so it will remain. I miss the game, the fans, the insults, criticisms, suggestions and the drama that comes with the job. It’s part of who we are as coaches and it all adds to the fun”, he added.

For Polo, the inability for local coaches to put forward their applications for the coaching job of the Black Stars is a step in the right direction, adding that it will serve as a warning for Ghana Football Association on how to treat local coaches who take up coaching jobs for any of the national teams.
