Former Hearts of Oak forward, Charles Taylor wishes that the club will be relegated from the Ghana Premier League.
Taylor, who was a member of Hearts of Oak's treble-winning team in 2000, opined that the club being relegated would give the fans closure after a difficult season.
He also suggested that the club's board be dissolved, claiming that the Rainbow side has lost their 'Never say die' spirit.
"I want Hearts of Oak to go to relegation. They should dissolve the Hearts of Oak board because there’s no 'Never Say Die' spirit in the team again," he said on Angel TV.
“If necessary Hearts of Oak should go to relegation because their supporters are going through a lot,” he added.
Hearts of Oak are 14th on the table, just two points above the drop zone after a 2-0 defeat to Asante Kotoko on Sunday, May 26, 2024.
They are on an abysmal run of losing four and winning just one of their last five matches.
The Phobians have three games left to salvage what has been a pathetic campaign.
