Asante Kotoko midfielder Emmanuel Antwi has vowed to add goal-scoring to his game ahead of the start of the 2024/25 Ghana football season.
The 24-year-old signed for the Porcupine Warriors this summer after a standout season with Great Olympics where he saw out his contract following the conclusion of the previous season.
Antwi featured for Asante Kotoko as they lost 2-1 to Medeama SC in a friendly game that officially opened the renovated TNA Stadium last Friday.
Speaking after the game, he described the encounter as intense and stated that goal scoring is one attribute he would like to add to his game.
“It was a very, very intense game, and I will say this is just a friendly game.
“We're trying to build our team, and I will plead with the supporters to just, you know, pardon us for now, go back to our drawing board, and we'll come back stronger.
“So for now, I'll say I have to add goal-scoring to my game, and yeah, everything will be fine.”
