Legon Cities captain Fatau Dauda says he will like to take up a coaching job after retiring from active football in the future.

According to the veteran goalkeeper, his love for football will make it impossible for him to break away from the sports after retirement like many of his colleague goalkeepers do.

Fatau is currently in self-isolation due to the break in the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League over the outbreak of Coronavirus pandemic.

In an interview with Joy FM, he advised the Ghana Football Association to set up an online programme for active players who may wish to enter into the coaching field after they hang their boots.

"If we can have an online platform for players to learn coaching, I would like it. I like football. I would still be in football after my career."

He added: “Maybe I would be a coach or pursue a managerial career. The way I love football, maybe I should be a coach."
