Ghana international Antoine Semenyo wants to emulate Norway and Manchester City star Erling Haaland.
Semenyo, who currently plies his trade for Premier League outfit Bournemouth, spoke highly of the former Dortmund forward in an interview.
Haaland has been a standout performer since moving to the Premier League from the German Bundesliga in 2022.
Last season, Haaland scored 27 goals in 31 games, following up on the 36 he netted in his debut season.
The Black Stars attacker aims to emulate Haaland’s goalscoring prowess.
“That man (Haaland) is tall, strong, fast, and he can finish. He’s got everything you need as a striker.
“The aura he has… if he’s on the pitch and you don’t mark him, he’s gonna score.
“Everyone’s trying to mark him, and even if you mark him, he still scores. I remember watching him… this is the kind of striker I want to be,” he said, as quoted by Earn Your Stripes.
