Former Medeama coach Tom Strand is on the hunt for a new club to coach in the Ghana Premier League after bizarrely quitting the club last season.
Strand, 34, is back in the country after going AWOL from the club under shocking circumstances after a CAF Confederations Cup match last year.
The Swede watched Medeama's goalless draw against Hearts last Sunday in Accra and is reported to be interested in the Hearts of Oak job which was recently handed to Scotsman Frank Nuttall.
Strand is highly rated in the Ghana Premier League but insists he will take his time in deciding his next destination.
“There is some opportunity for me to work in Ghana so that’s why I am back in the country.
“I can't say yes but I have different opportunities but time will tell,” he told Starr FM.
