Ghana’s all-time leading scorer Asamoah Gyan is considering his next move after recovering from a long injury layoff.
The 34 year old striker is currently unattached after he was released by Indian Super League side NorthEast United in January.
FootballMadeInGhana.com understands that a dream move to Ghana Premier League side Asante Kotoko might be on the cards as the former Sunderland hitman approaches the twilight of his career.
Gyan, who is a staunch supporter of the Porcupine Warriors, in a recent interview with TV3 confirmed his desire to play for the Kumasi based club.
“I’ve supported Kumasi Asante Kotoko since I was a kid, till now. I even said to myself that I had to play Kotoko, but I didn’t have the chance to play before traveling outside” he noted.
“I have said that I have to wear the red shirt before I call it a day. I want to finish my career at Kumasi Asante Kotoko”.
