Ghana goalkeeper Stephen Adams wants to catch the attention of Ghana coach Avram Grant to ensure he is handed a recall to the Black Stars.

With the remaining qualifiers of the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations and 2018 World Cup looming, the Aduana Stars wants to use his fine pre-season form to convince the Israeli coach to hand him a return.

Adams has not played for the Black Stars since Grant took over the squad just over one year ago as injuries and loss of form have conspired against the goalkeeper.

The glovesman, who was part of Ghana's squad for the 2014 World Cup, says his fine pre-season form through his hard work should convince the former Chelsea manager to hand him a return to the national side.

“With my injury worries over and currently in fine form, I hope to use this football season to bounce back into the senior national team," Adams said.

The Aduana Stars safest pair of hands' exploits in the domestic league earned him a place at the 2013 edition of the African Nations Championship (CHAN) where the Local Black Stars reached the final.

His performance earned him a call- up into the senior national team, which eventually played in the Brazil 2014 World Cup.
